One of the injured, Ronald Hall suffered a severely broken leg and serious burns. Despite needing one more surgery he says he's felt the love from all the people taking care of him.

Hall said he remembers feeling uneasy about the amount of gas in the building they were inspecting, and told fellow officer Pauline Perez, who he calls the rookie, to get out just seconds before the blast.

The fundraiser will be held from 10am - 8pm at the Dallas Police Association headquarters on Griffin Street and will feature food, a live band, and a bounce house and will benefit Captain Christopher Gadomski, Driver Engineer Ronald Hall, Officer Pauline Perez and Officer Andrew Curtis.

Donations can also be made online.
