More than 40 diplomats met with Dallas leaders promoting workforce opportunities in the city.
They were a part of the 2025 Dallas Mayor's Consular Corps Summit involving Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, City Manager Kimberly Tolbert, and several North Texas business leaders including Ross Perot Jr.
The goal was to share experiences involving the number of companies that have relocated to Dallas.
Managers from the soon to be open Texas Stock Exchange were also involved.
"Dallas defines what it means to be an international city," Mayor Eric Johnson said in a statement. "Through the Mayor's Consular Corps Summit, we strengthened our existing international partnerships and showcased Dallas to potential new partners, inviting diplomats from around the world to grow their country's presence in Dallas and be a part of our remarkable rise on the world stage, from hosting the World Cup next year to the emergence of Y'all Street."
Other business leaders from Hunt Oil and Goldman Sachs explained how they see Dallas as the best big city in the United States for business.
The diplomats represented countries in South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa.
