Tatsu, a high-end Japanese restaurant in the historic Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum, has been named one of nine finalists in Cintas’ 2025 “America’s Best Restroom” contest. The annual competition honors public restrooms that are both clean and creatively designed.

Tatsu’s restroom features vivid koi fish wall art, gleaming mirrors, and a high-tech Toto toilet, creating what the restaurant describes as an elegant, calming space for guests. It’s an extension of the restaurant’s Michelin-starred omakase sushi experience, run by chef Tatsuya Sekiguchi.

Voting for “America’s Best Restroom” is open through Friday morning, August 15, at bestrestroom.com. The winning facility will receive $2,500 in services from Cintas and, of course, bragging rights.
