Grapevine police have arrested a former Chick-fil-A employee accused of stealing more than $80,000 from the restaurant through a refund fraud scheme.
Keyshun Jones was fired from the Grapevine location in October 2025. One month later, in November 2025, surveillance video allegedly shows Jones returning to the store and accessing the register while it was unattended. Police say he processed roughly 800 fake orders of mac and cheese trays and immediately issued refunds to his personal credit cards, resulting in just over $80,000 in losses to the business.
The restaurant owner reported the suspicious activity, prompting Grapevine police to launch an investigation. Jones evaded arrest on multiple occasions before he was taken into custody on April 17, 2026, with help from the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Task Force and Fort Worth police.
He faces multiple felony charges, including theft of property valued between $30,000 and $150,000, money laundering, evading arrest with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and fraud involving identifying information. His total bail is set at $117,500.
