A former TCU student jailed after being accused of threatening to blow up the campus in early February has been ruled incompetent to stand trial.

Ahmad Peterson-Adeyanju is locked up on four criminal counts including Criminal Trespass with a Deadly Weapon, Making a Terroristic Threat Against a Peace Officer or Judge, Criminal Mischief and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

In February the judge granted a request from Peterson-Adeyanju's lawyer who requested a psychological evaluation. Based on the results of that, the judge has ordered Peterson-Adeyanju to cooperate in Tarrant County's jail-based competency restoration program.

If he is eventually determined to be competent to assist in his own defense, he could then be tried.
