A Fort Worth gang member who shot an Arlington teenager to death almost three years ago has learned his punishment.
The day after convicting Adrian Robinson, 21, of engaging in organized criminal activity-murder and deadly conduct, a Tarrant County jury has sentenced him to 75 years and 20 years in prison, respectively.
Robinson was found guilty in the January 2020 shooting death of Cheyenne Moore, 17, a student at Arlington Martin High School.
Prosecutors successfully argued that Robinson shot Moore to death to gain acceptance from fellow gang members.
Robinson's two sentences will run concurrently.
Jurors deadlocked on at least two other charges, and Judge George Gallagher declared a mistrial on those counts.
