Fort Worth's reputation as a filming location continued to grow this week thanks to the release of rapper Kendrick Lamar's latest music video.
Lamar's latest hit "N95," which already has over 13 million views, features a number of recognizable locations including the Water Gardens, Kimbell Art Museum, Botanical Gardens, and The Modern Art Museum.
According to Red Sanders of Fort-Worth-based production company Red Productions, via the Fort Worth Report, the city was chosen thanks to the lack of red tape which eventually ruled out other locations - crediting the work of the Fort Worth Film Commission.
This is the latest in a recent string of high-profile shoots to take place in the city. In 2021, Paramount+ filmed part of their Yellowstone prequel series 1883 in the Stockyards. Feature-length movies The Senior and 12 Mighty Orphans were both recently filmed in the city also.
Earlier this year, Fort Worth was ranked the 25th best place to live and work as a moviemaker in 2022.
