Four Little Elm ISD students were arrested Friday for assaulting Police officers during demostrations at the high school.
Some students at Little Elm High School were participating in a planned student demonstration when it unraveled and turned violent.
The demonstration was a result of a social media post the day before that contained inaccurate information regarding an incident that happened a month ago, according to school officials.
School resource officers and Little Elm Police responded to the scene, and some videos posted on social media show officers deploying their Tasers at students.
Erin Mudie with Little Elm Police says while some are calling this a "mass casualty event," the extent of any injuries is unclear at this time.
Little Elm High School remains on lockdown as police work to restore order.
