The Frisco ISD school board has approved a plan to regulate school bathroom use.
At a meeting Monday night, the school board signed off on a new policy insisting students must use the bathroom that corresponds to their biological sex.
Schools may still provide a private bathroom if requested.
In the discussion before the vote, some parents objected saying it was all about equal rights for all students and staff.
But other parents said it should be about biological girls and boys having privacy, and the scool board agreed.
