Classes are going on as scheduled in Crowley today even as police investigate reports of gunfire near Crowley High School Tuesday evening.

Crowley police reports they got several 9-1-1 calls about 6:40 p.m. reporting gunshots being heard near Eagle Drive and Longhorn Trial adjacent to the combined campuses of the high school and the 9th grade school.

Police had reports that the shooters' vehicles had sped off toward Fort Worth.

Investigators say they're pulling video footage and speaking to witnesses and collecting evidence from the scene. No one was wounded but some property damage was observed.

A statement from Crowley school administrators stresses that "no students were involved or injured."
