A Hood County couple are looking for their lost kangaroo.
Although 'roos are not common in North Texas, Briana Lafleur calls Nigel "my baby."
Lafleur has raised 3-year-old Nigel and considers him part of her family.
But Tuesday, he was startled by some loud noise and escaped his enclosure, leading to a wide-ranging search of more than 200 acres of heavily wooded Hood County terrain.
He's been spotted at least once -- from a distance -- but no one has been able to get close, so far.
LaFleur is asking for help from anyone who might have aerial drones or tracking dogs.
