With early voting set to begin Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced an investigation into what he described as "limited failed tests" of some voting machines in Dallas County.

In a post on X on Saturday night, Paxton said his office is working with the Texas Secretary of State's office to address the reported issues. He responded to a press release from Dallas County Republican Chair Allen West, calling West’s list of complaints premature and containing inaccuracies.

Paxton assured voters that efforts are underway to resolve the technical problems to ensure that every vote is counted fairly and without interference or fraud.
