Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and a woman with whom he allegedly had an affair in the 1990s have reached a resolution in a breach of contract trial.

The trial was in its second day on Tuesday when attorneys for Jones and Cynthia Davis said the two reach the agreement.

The trial stemmed from a Jones claim that Davis and his daughter Alexandra Davis breached a contract. Jones sought $1.6 million in attorneys' fees.

Jones allegedly had an affair with Cynthia Davis in Little Rock in the 1990s. She later had a child, Alexandra, who claims Jones is her father. Jones says he is not the father.

Jones and Cynthia Davis entered into an agreement in 1998 when Alexandra Davis was 2 years old. Jones has paid millions of dollars for her benefit in the following years.

In recent years, Alexandra sued Jones to take a paternity test. Jones filed a countersuit, claiming a breach of contract.

On Monday, the jury heard opening states and from one witness. Jones is expected to take the stand on Tuesday. He will miss the start of Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California.
