A longtime Dallas police officer faces arrest for solicitation of prostitution.
Senior Corporal Zachary Helm, badge number 8859, was taken into custody Monday, June 29, according to the Dallas Police Department. The charge is a state jail felony. Helm has been with the department since June 2006 and is assigned to the Special Investigations Division. He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
