A Kentucky man faces charges of indecent assault and aggravated sexual assault after police say he assaulted a woman at an assisted living facility in Wylie.

Police got a call on Thursday from a person who visited the Garnett Hill Rehabilitation and Skilled Care facility who said someone may have sexually assaulted a resident there.

A family member of the victim's roommate had previously installed a security camera in the room and was reviewing the video when they discovered the assault. They contacted police knowing the roommate had a lack of mental capacity.

They contacted police who were able to identify the man as 58-year-old Dudley Hammond from Louisville, Kentucky. He had been a visitor at the facility at the time of the assault. The staff gave police a heads up when they got word he was planning to visit again on Wednesday. Police set up surveillance and arrested him.

Police say the facility has been cooperating and will conduct an internal investigation. Police say they don't believe there were any other victims.
