A man killed in a fire Wednesday in Fort Worth died by suicide, fire officials say.
Fort Worth fire crews were called to an address on East Rosedale just west of Loop 820 after 8 p.m. Wednesday, fire officials said.
On arrival, they reportedly found the victim on fire and quickly doused the flames engulfing him, but the man was already dead, officials said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed the man died by suicide. He died from burns and smoke inhalation.
