March toward Dallas: Carry the Load starts month-long mission

Born out of grief, Carry The Load has been bringing hope and resources to our nation’s military, veterans, first responders, and their families for the last ten years.

What started as a one-day memorial march in Dallas in 2011, today has grown to a 32-day Memorial May awareness campaign that includes a 15,500-mile national relay and rallies in 70+ cities in all 50 states.

"It's grown into a national movement," says Stephen Holley, Carry The Load Co-Founder, President and CEO.

Carry The Load has raised more than $28 million funding 45 non-profit organizations which support our heroes and their families and which provide counseling, adaptive training, suicide prevention, equine therapy, service dogs, job placements, civilian transition, home improvements, care for burn victims, education scholarships for children of the fallen, and more.

It all culminates in Dallas for their Memorial March on May 30-31.

"At our Dallas Memorial March you're able to learn the dozens and dozens of stories about brave men and women who have made that ultimate sacrifice," says Holley.
