A motorcyclist is dead in Grand Prairie after rear-ending a car on the George Bush Turnpike yesterday.

Witnesses tell DPS investigators the rider was going very fast and "splitting lanes." In other words, driving between cars in two adjacent lanes of traffic.

Suddenly, he slammed into the back of a car near Pioneer Parkway.

The rider was killed at the scene but no one in the car was hurt.
