School districts across DFW are reporting their closures and/or changes to their operations as North Texas continues to expect freezing temperatures.

Dallas ISD: Due to widespread power outages throughout the area, Dallas ISD schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17, Teachers and students will return to all virtual learning Thursday, Feb. 18, and Friday, Feb. 19.

Arlington ISD: All classes will be closed to instruction throughout the District Tuesday, Feb. 16

Fort Worth ISD: FWISD will close schools on Tuesday, Feb. 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17, in response to continuing severe weather.

Frisco ISD: Frisco ISD has canceled all in-person and virtual academy classes for Tuesday, February 16.

Garland ISD: Due to rolling power outages, all Garland ISD schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 16. We will continue monitoring weather conditions and power outages. Per TEA, school closures must be made on a day-to-day determination. A decision will be made regarding the following day’s plan no later than 1 p.m. each day.

Irving ISD: Irving ISD campuses and district offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 16. Due to ongoing demands on the power grid and rolling power outages, virtual learning is canceled for all students and teachers for Tuesday, February 16.

Mesquite ISD: Mesquite ISD campuses and offices will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Due to ongoing demands on the power grid and rolling power outages, virtual learning is canceled for all students and teachers for Tuesday, Feb. 16.
