We've all heard of runaway brides, but a runaway dress?

Well that's exactly what the North Texas Tollway Authority is dealing with after a roadside safety services crew member found an abandoned wedding dress near the Tollway and Gaylord Parkway in Frisco.

The dress appears to be in good condition according to DMN, and NTTA officials believe it was last worn about 20 years ago.

Now, the search is on for the owner.

Rey said, "They might not know it fell off their vehicle, and we’re just trying to reunite them with what is obviously a treasure. It’s not a thing, per se; it’s a memory and a cherished connection. We’re hoping that the person who lost this sees this and contacts us to get their precious dress back."

Anyone with any info on the dress or its owner is encouraged to email the North Texas Toll Authority at TalkToNTTA@ntta.org.
