One of four Fort Worth school district bond issues has been approved but only by just over 40 votes.

Proposition "A" is written to provide $1.2 billion for major renovations in middle schools and construction of four elementaries. Out of nearly 25,000 votes cast, the "for" votes outnumber the "against" by a total of 42 ballots.
That could yet change because late-arriving absentee ballots can still be counted as long as they were postmarked in time.
But voters said no to Proposition B, it would allocate more than $98 million for the district's auditoriums and Fine Arts facilities.
They also rejected Proposition C, that called for $104 million to build new sports complexes.
And Proposition D also failed, it called for $76 million for improvments at rec facilities and some athletic stadiums.
