If you or family or friends are traveling on I-35 between DFW and Waco/Austin/San Antonio this weekend then be prepared for delays due to a major closure in Waco as both northbound and southbound I-35 between New Road and 12th Street ALL LANES WILL BE CLOSED from 11:45 pm on Friday, August 7th though 5 am on Sunday, August 9th due to removal of the S Valley Mills direct connect. Your best alternate route will be to take the Hwy 6/340 Loop around this construction zone.
