KRUM (1080 KRLD) - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms needs your help in solving a burglary at a Denton County gun range, and a reward is being offered.
Just after 2:00 a.m. on Sept. 14, someone broke into the Top Dog Gun Range, 1880 FM 156, Krum, and stole 21 firearms.
"It was a mix of both handguns and long guns," says Sara Abel, ATF spokeswoman.

Abel says stolen firearms pose an immediate threat to the safety of communities.
"Stolen firearms are typically used by violent criminals," says Abel, "and they get put into communities, and they're used for nefarious things."
That's why it's especially important to find the person responsible and to recover the stolen firearms.
"For any information leading to the identification or the arrest of the suspect responsible, ATF, as well as NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation), is offering up to a $10,000 reward," Abel says.
The burglar was wearing a baseball-style cap, glasses and a gaiter that covered his face.
The burglar was wearing a long sleeve shirt with a logo depicting the letters "LTR" underscored by a lightning bolt, which is registered to a defunct business named Lighting Tower Rental.
Anyone with information is asked to call ATF at 888-ATF-TIPS.
Tips can also be submitted via email or through the ATF's website.
