Returning from their bye week, the Longhorns are hoping to rebound from a disheartening loss to Oklahoma State.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers, a Southlake Carroll product, had a tough game in Stillwater, throwing three interceptions and completing just 19 passes.
Appearing on last night's "Longhorn Weekly" on 1080 KRLD, head coach Steve Sarkisian says he had close talks with Ewers during the bye break, letting his QB know everyone has a "weak moment" in his career while saying it's all about the response and how we can overcome adversity.
On Saturday, the Longhorns travel to Manhattan, Kansas to play the 6-2 Kansas State Wildcats.
1080 KRLD is the DFW home of the Texas Longhorns. Kick-off is at 6 p.m. with the pre-game show starting at 5 p.m. You can also listen live on the Audacy app.
Also Saturday, undefeated TCU hosts Texas Tech. The 7th ranked Horned Frogs are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference, leaving them atop the Big 12 standings.
