"TEXRail really makes it easy for travelers to get to work, leisure or to catch their flights," says AJ Arjanen, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Rail. "So today is a celebration of three years of doing that."

Arjanen says in its three years, TEXRail has led to more than 105 million dollars in transit-oriented development in Grapevine and more than 137 million in North Richland Hills. And now, TEXRail it's growing.

The rail currently travels though downtown Fort Worth to DFW International Airport, Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. Now in development: An extension to the Fort Worth Medical District, with a new station near Baylor Scott and White All Saints.

"We really feel like it's going to be a great option," Arjanen says. "Not only for the medical workers, but also for the patients and the visitors."
