KRLD listeners be aware of three major weekend Red Alerts, two in Tarrant County and one in Denton County shutting down three major freeway for most of the weekend.
The Southeast Connector project will shut down Eastbound I-20 at Highway 287 starting at 9 o'clock on Friday night through 6 o'clock on Sunday morning, traffic will be detoured to the u-turn at Business 287.
Then in Western Tarrant County the Keep 20/30 Moving Project will close Eastbound I-30 between the I-20 merge and West Loop 820 the whole weekend starting at 7 o'clock on Friday evening all the way through 6 o'clock on Monday morning for a traffic switch onto new permanent pavement, traffic will be directed through a signed detour and alternate routes are advised.
In Lewisville the I-35E Phase 2 Construction Project ALL LANES WILL BE CLOSED on Northbound and Southbound I-35E at Corporate Drive from 10 pm on Friday, 8/14 through 11 am on Sunday, 8/16 for bridge work, traffic will be diverted to the service road. Also look out for related bridge work affecting the ramp and service road access around Corporate Drive.
