(Fort Worth, TX) -- A trial is underway in Fort Worth where a man named Fayaka Dunbar is accused of murdering two drag queens in their Fort Worth home nearly six years ago.
Prosecutors argue that Dunbar opened fire after a paid sex act at the home near the TCU campus. They say a shot killed Jason Bradley immediately, and another slug ended up lodged in the spine of the other victim, who died in a nursing home last year.
Dunbar's lawyers claim the killings were in self-defense, asserting that there was a fistfight between their client and the victims -- apparently a quarrel over the price Dunbar had paid.
