Forney police have arrested two people for child abuse following a complaint from a teacher.
Police reports say the child showed up at an elementary school in the Forney ISD with noticeable injuries and someone called the Forney Police Department.
The child was hospitalized for treatment and officers launched an investigation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Police say they arrested James Richard II and Syasandrea Conroy of Forney on a charge of injury to a child. They also say they secured the safety of several other children inside their home and that other charges could be filed as the investigation develops.
