A law firm in California has bought the most expensive ticket package for Friday's fight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are on the main card, and Tyson will fight for the first time since an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
The fight will be a professional fight sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. The match between Tyson, 58, and Paul, 27, will include eight two minute rounds.
"I'm just ready to fight," Tyson says. "I've said everything I had to say. I have nothing else to say. I'm just looking forward to fighting."
"I've brought a lot of excitement to the sport, knocking people out on the biggest platforms possible, going against the biggest names and making matchups the fans want to see," Paul says.
Thursday morning, tickets in the highest levels of AT&T Stadium were available on Seat Geek for as low as $60. Most tickets on the floor ranged from $700 to $1,500. Five tickets in the front row were listed at $50,000.
This week, promoters said the "MVP Owner's Experience VIP Package" had sold for $2 million. TorkLaw, a personal injury firm based in California, bought the seats which include a ringside suite described as the closest seating ever approved by boxing regulators in Texas.
The seats also include visits to the locker rooms before the fight, pictures in the ring after the fight and boxing gloves signed by both Paul and Tyson.
"As Champions of the People, we believe in supporting opportunities that inspire and elevate," TorkLaw wrote in a statement. "This event showcases not only the power of competition but the spirit of perseverance, and we’re honored to be a part of it.”
The event will be streamed on Netflix with the undercard starting at 7 p.m. Events at the stadium start at 4:30.
