A vigil was held on the TCU campus in Fort Worth Thursday night in memory of student Julie Johannessen who was found dead in her dorm room on Sunday.
The cause of death has not been revealed.
A standout shooter on the TCU rifle team, Johannessen helped the Frogs to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championships in her Freshman year.
A native of Norway, in January Johannessen shot her first ever perfect score in a competition against UTEP, only the fifth Horned Frog to accomplish that.
Last night, the TCU community gathered in a candlelight vigil at Frog Fountain in Julie's honor, remembering her life and contributions to the university.
