The country's most grueling bike ride is coming up this weekend in Wichita Falls.

The Hotter Than Hell 100 Endurance Ride is an annual bike race since 1982 to take part in Wichita Falls' Centennial Celebration.

Last year, it was 109 degrees on race day, and while it won't be that bad this year, the forecast high tomorrow is 103. Despite the heat, thousands of riders will be out there again, tomorrow.

How do riders survive the dangerous heat? Kelby Hagar, a participant in the race says it comes down to hydration.

"I would do a 16-ounce liquid every eight miles... add all that up and that's an awful lot of liquid," Hagar says.
