A woman is arrested in Plano after hitting a child in a residential neighborhood and driving away.

49-year-old Zulma Beltran is now in the Plano city jail. The shocking video shows the young girl on her way to school on the morning of December 10 when she was hit by Beltran at the intersection of Wilson Drive and Westridge Drive.

Incredibly, the girl was not seriously injured and was able to get up. Beltran drove away without stopping.

Plano police identified the suspected driver of the car last week but did not release the name of the woman pending the issue of a warrant. Plano police have charged her with a felony, collision involving personal injury.
