ROAD WORK RED ALERT - Downtown Dallas Canyon from 10 pm on Saturday, 10/24 through 6 am on Monday, 10/26 - ALL LANES IN EACH DIRECTION OF I-30 WILL BE CLOSED between I-35E & I-45.
Weather permitting, all lanes of east and westbound I-30 will be closed between the I-35E and I-45 interchanges from 10 pm Saturday, October 24 to 5 am Monday, October 26 as part of the ongoing I-30 Canyon corridor improvement project.
A signed detour will be in place to use Woodall Rodgers Freeway as an alternate east-west connection between I-35E and I-45. Significant delays can be expected; avoid unnecessary travel in the area if possible.
This is part of the $888 million I-30 Canyon project between the I-35E and I-45 interchanges. Overall completion is expected in 2031.
