The City of Allen held a "moment of silence," urging people to stop what they were doing at 3:36 p.m. on Saturday. That's when the first 9-1-1 calls came in one week ago about gunfire at the mall.
Allen city officials also want people who are still struggling to cope with the mass shooting to know they're not alone, and that there are places to get help.
While the F-B-I's Family Assistance Center has closed - the city has started operating its own Victim Services Help Line.
