In 2020, at the age of 103, Texas man Alfred “Al” Blaschke secured the Guinness World Record for oldest man to tandem skydive, which he did to celebrate his twin grandsons’ college graduations.

A couple of years ago, that record was taken from him after a Swedish woman who was 103 years and 259 days old, took the title from him.

However, that record is back with Blaschke after he took to the skies for a tandem sky dive at the age of 106!

According to the NY Post, Blaschke was 106 years and 327 days old when he accomplished the impressive feat last November, diving in the air at an altitude of 9,000 feet alongside Texas governor Greg Abbot.

After the dive, Blaschke said to those gathered, including his children, grandchildren and members of the media, “If you think you can’t, you’re just underestimating yourself.  Everyone is more capable than they think. They just need to make the decision to try.”
