Developers are taking the wraps off their plans for a skyscraper in downtown Austin. And they're saying when it's done, it will be the tallest building in Texas.
It's called the Waterline, going up just a couple of blocks from the Colorado River and about a mile south of the Texas Capitol.
Developer Seth Johnson says the tower will top out at 74 stories and at 1,022 feet. That'll make it 20 feet taller than Houston's Chase building which is curently the tallest in Texas.
With that much space there will be plenty of room for a 251-room hotel, more than 350 luxury apartments and office space totalling 700,000 square feet.
The plans call for Waterline to be open by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
