The man accused in the mass murder at a Colorado Springs gay night club was once a high schooler in San Antonio.
While living in Bexar County, reports say Nicholas Brink had his name legally changed to Anderson Lee Aldrich, the name by which he's now jailed in Colorado.
Reports say his grandparents say he applied for the name change, seeking to distance himself from his birth father who has a criminal history.
