One person has been killed in the town of Gilmer, about mid-way between Dallas and Shreveport, Louisiana, where a fireworks explosion was reported Tuesday.
Investigators say a crew was setting up for an Independence Day celebration later in the day when the accident happened.
In addition to the fatality, the Upshur County Sheriff's Office says four people were hurt but their conditions have not been released.
The fire and explosion are still under investigation but the Sheriff's Office does not think any crime was committed.
