The Biden administration is reportedly auctioning off materials from the unfinished southern border wall, some for as little as $5. But Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) is pushing back with a plan to reclaim the segments ahead of the incoming Trump administration.

Speaking on Fox News, Patrick criticized the auctions and revealed a $1 billion budget proposal dedicated to reclaiming and using the wall materials.

Patrick emphasized that the effort aligns with Texas’s commitment to border security, referencing the role of Tom Homan, the incoming border czar, in strengthening security measures.
