A new report shows the ripple effects of the Texas abortion ban.

The survey, done by Manatt Health, found that one in five Texas OB-GYNs are considering leaving the state, due to a near-total ban on abortion. Manatt Health Managing Director Alix Morin says those working in reproductive healthcare are stressed out, thanks to a fear of jail time for inadvertently breaking the law.

"A worsening workforce shortage affects all Texans who need OB-GYN care of any kind, not just abortion or family planning services," Morin says.

Three-quarters of ob-gyn's say they cannot follow best practices in Texas. Earlier this week, the Supreme Court refused to hear a lawsuit over the Texas abortion law, which looked specifically at Emergency Rooms.
