The Kyles can't get it done, so now, it's up to the Ryans.
The city of Kyle, Texas has tried to break a world record with the most people named Kyle in one place, but it hasn't done it. Now, Texas tries again with another name.
There's now a "Ryan Rodeo" coming up in downtown Austin this Saturday. Event organizers want to get as many Ryans as possible to show up to Buck Wild on 6th Street. This is for Ryans only, it has to be spelled R-Y-A-N.
"It’s fixin’ to be a rip-roarin' time, as we gather round and revel in the beauty of our shared name," says a post on the event website. "Don’t be surprised if some Ryans start square dancin' -- after all, you can’t spell country without R-Y."
Bryan's aren't wanted, because as they say, "Bryans are just B-list Ryans."
You can get more details of the "Ryan Rodeo" on the MeetUp.com page.
