A statewide online damage survey is now open so Texans can report property damage from this weekend’s severe winter storm, helping officials understand the full impact and support recovery efforts.

The Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT) was activated Tuesday by the Texas Division of Emergency Management to collect damage reports for residential, commercial and agricultural properties at damage.tdem.texas.gov; information provided could be used to determine eligibility for state and federal disaster assistance and guide planning for repairs and resources.

The iSTAT survey is voluntary and does not replace insurance claims, but officials said accurate damage reports are vital for emergency managers to assess losses and determine whether communities meet federal thresholds for additional aid after dangerous ice, freezing temperatures and related storm impacts.

📍 How to report damage:

Report your storm damage online at damage.tdem.texas.gov or call the survey hotline if you need assistance.
