The Big Texan Steak Ranch, famed for its legendary 72-ounce steak challenge, has a new contender making headlines. Social media influencer Mohamed Mbengue, known to fans as MoMotion, conquered the challenge three times - in a single day.
Since opening along historic Route 66 in 1960, this Amarillo hotspot has dared diners to devour a colossal plate featuring a 4.5-pound steak, baked potato, salad, roll, butter, and shrimp cocktail - all in under an hour - for free. While only about 12% of challengers emerge victorious, MoMotion didn’t stop at one plate - he cleared three, pausing between each to regroup.
In true viral fashion, a TikTok clip shows MoMotion dancing and bowing to cheering customers as he receives three award certificates from the restaurant - proof that he turned the challenge into a performance as much as a feat.
But MoMotion wasn’t finished. Just hours later, he jumped into a 5-pound - and possibly larger - pho challenge at a nearby Thai restaurant, walking away from yet another mountain of food victorious and still the star of TikTok.
