As expected, it's brutal out this morning. Temperatures have fallen into the twenties and wind chills are in the single digits in some areas. The light snow that's showing up on radar is not reaching the ground. It's way to dry at the surface. Dewpoints are near 0 degrees in some areas.

Clouds will stick around through the day before exiting after midnight tonight. It will stay very cold today with highs only on the low to mid thirties. Wind chills will be in the teens and twenties.

As the skies clear tonight, temperatures will plummet. Morning lows will possibly be in the single digits along the Red River Valley, upper teens in DFW. Please remember to let those faucets drip and keep your pets indoors. Don't worry about your plants, because most of you have already killed yours.

We stay cold tomorrow with a slow warm up into the weekend. Highs in the low forties tomorrow, near 50 on Saturday and pushing 60 on Sunday. Two more freezes are expected both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Clouds increase on Monday with a slight chance of some rain during the day. Temperatures will hold in the low fifties. The temperatures on the arrached graphic are too warm in my opinion.

Another cold front arrives early Tuesday dropping temperatures in the into the forties for highs both Tuesday and Wednesday.
