Ahead of the park's reopening for the first time in more than a year this Friday, Sleeping Beauty's castle was illuminated at Disneyland Monday night as a symbol of hope & gratitude for Disney fans.

“Throughout this past year, Walt Disney’s lamp has beacon of hope and optimism that Disneyland will reopen and once again be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world,” Disney Parks Experiences & Products Chariman Josh D’Amaro said.

Disneyland & Disney's California Adventure reopen April 30th at reduced capacity and to California residents only. There will be no parades, fireworks, or hugs between guests & workers, for now.
