Three lanes on the 5 Freeway shut down early Tuesday morning after someone was hit by a car in San Clemente.
KNX News traffic reporter Brian Douglas said a pedestrian was hit and killed. Further details regarding the crash were not revealed.
The three right lanes in the northbound 5 Freeway were shut down and the delays began out of Oceanside.
