More than 1,000 arcade games are going up for auction as the Museum of Pinball in Banning is set to close its doors for good.

Captain’s Auction Warehouse will host bids on pinball machines and games online and in the museum on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday's bidding will begin at 3 p.m.

"While it's disappointing to see the Museum of Pinball close its doors, I am confident that Captain's Auction Warehouse will steer the games in the right direction as we've worked together for many years,'' museum owner John Weeks told NBC 4.

The museum had a large collection of classic arcade and pinball games, including “Magical Girl” and “Big Bang Bar.” The entire collection is reportedly valued at $8 million, according to the news outlet.

Additional auctions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. and product previews will be available between noon and 3 p.m. on Friday, and between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Inventory that has not been auctioned by Sept. 13 will be up for grabs during a final bid on Sept. 24-26, the museum said.
