Police have apprehended an individual wanted in connection with a suspected assault with a deadly weapon.
The suspect led the LAPD on an hour-long chase through the streets of the San Fernando Valley on Friday afternoon.
The suspect was driving a black BMW, possibly a stolen vehicle, and wove in and out of oncoming traffic, at times driving on the wrong side of the road.
The chase came to an end on Saticoy Street near Tobias Avenue in Pacoima. The driver first appeared to be taunting officers by slowing down and speeding up periodically. Eventually, the individual stopped and excited the vehicle, surrendering himself to officers without further incident.
