LISTEN NOW: Lizzo explains how music is therapy for her.
This year’s event will feature artists, athletes, and experts sharing honest conversation about their personal experiences with mental health in a continued effort to raise awareness and support. Because talk saves lives.
One of the many celebrity guests joining this year’s broadcast is Lizzo, whom explained ahead of this year's show, how music is therapy for her.
“Music is therapy for me for sure. Like I’ve always written songs, I’ve been writing songs since I was nine years old, writing poems and stories,” Lizzo shared. “Writing was a form of escapism when I was a kid, and I feel like I still do that now.”
