Sgt. Robert Martinez said more than "$15,000 worth of stolen property was recovered" during the warrant service in the 100 block of 31st Street in Long Beach.

Along with tools and equipment from the warehouse, deputies also seized two tractors that had been taken during the Aug. 28 break-in, Martinez alleged.

He said all of the stolen goods were returned to the business.

Deputies learned that Gonzalez had been arrested by the Alhambra Police Department in an unrelated investigation just a day prior to the Riverside County warrant being served, according to the sergeant.

The suspect, who is being held without bail at the Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, was slated to make an initial court appearance at Alhambra Municipal Court Thursday afternoon.

Martinez said that the sheriff's department will also seek felony charges against him in Riverside County.
